Last April i researched the identity of Parisian young women. I always had an romantic image about Paris but during the years it became more realistic. Several visits showed me the chaotic and dirty side of the metropolis. I wondered what the Parisians actually were like. How do these two million individuals actually live? To keep the research the most close to myself i focused on women from 20 to 30 years old.

During the 'Wardrobe interviews' i asked Amandine, Claire, Nazerkem and Timéa about the different layers of their clothing. Different outfits for different situations will give a complex view on someones identity.

Home is the base were we build from. From there we reflect on the other, sometimes critical, situations. The photoserie, as a static representation of the research, brought me at interesting places of Paris, that have a special relation with the women.
