I find my drive in the variety in culture and people around me. Often i have the urge to understand people and to deepen in their context. The way people dress gives information about their identity: At sight you find essentials criteria, but when you talk about peoples clothes you get into deeper information and mostly stories. Clothing is a tool to research identity but also the material i create with. Wearable art and textile prints have a strong sensible, spatial and illustrational character.
The textile works are sometimes autonomous or commercial which emphasizes the multi-disciplinairity of me as a maker.
Born (1994) and Raised in Rotterdam. Graduating in Fine-Arts at the Willem de Kooning academie, with a minor in Cultural Diversity, this year. Did an internship at Wijkatelier op Zuid.
